Is out of gas, I barely made it home. It kept coming close to stalling out when I was driving. I'm not the type to panic but I was starting to get a little worried. I passed three gas stations on the way home, and could have easily pulled into them had it not been the fact that I have no money whatsoever in my account, even if I did, my debit card doesn't work so it would have been useless. And, it is raining so that would have sucked even worse. Sure, someone could have came and gotten me easily but that's not the point.
Yay for being poor! I don't get paid until next Wednesday and I hate borrowing money or asking people any sort of favor for that matter.
Ah well, at least I did make it home and I'm not stranded on the side of the road.

Is gettin' married and having babies.
Am I the ONLY woman who is not concerned with this? I have no interest what so ever in either right now. To me, marriage is just a status symbol and doesn't define a relationship. And kids? SERIOUSLY? They take over your life. I want 'em someday (maybe), but I do not want to waste my youth on that nonsense.
In other news, today I walked outside in my bathrobe to get something out of my car and when I got out there, Mormans were standing at my door. Three men (two guys a little younger than me and one that was so old there was no possible way that he had any idea what was going on) and a woman. They tried talking to me but I blew them off, like always. I had a good excuse this time though, I was half naked and trying to go to work.

Well, I am sad despite my wonderful weekend. Oh well, I guess all good things have to come to an end. I have a serious case of the Mondays.
Anyway, I haven't updated you all on my new baby, Toby. He is a mess, but he's the cutest mess I've ever seen.
Isn't he (or she) purty? A lot of my fellow bird people have been saying that "he" might be female because he likes to take baths instead of being sprayed, but since he's my first Lovebird and "he" is so young is really hard to say. Wonder if Toby's colors will get any darker as he gets older? Hmm.
My friends and family who aren't all really bird people think I'm nuts for getting another one. They call me the crazy bird lady. Seriously, I am done! NO MORE.

Josh made a good point. He thinks it's a celebrity stunt. Because Michael wasn't selling any albums, he faked his death in order to get more sales. I don't know if he was selling ablums or not, but it's a good theory. Although someone told me he was about to go on tour. Either way, I'm not really effected by his death. If there is any sort of effect, it's relief. He gave me that "no" feeling. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he may have molested a child or two...even without that, he was still a creep toward the end.

My trip to the Bahamas & the Florida Keys was more amazing that I even imagined it would be. I highly recommend Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines.
Our ship "Majesty of the Sea" ported in Nassau.

My Lovebird baby comes home this weekend! Originally, he was not meant to be mine, but circumstances changed and so now he is going to be a part of my family. =) He is the most beautiful Lovie I have ever seen, and he is a sweetheart!

On Sunday night my friend Justin and I went to The Drunken Unicorn to see Her Space Holiday. They played with two bands; the first was called Mother Father and the second was City Light. Both were very good, but I fell in love with City Light. This is a lot coming from me because usually I dread the opening bands. People are always saying the opening bands are a good way to expand your music or whatever but to me it's rare that the opening band is to my taste. Anyway, here is a video of Her Space Holiday that I made.

Last night I was helping the Girl Scout troop with the Father-Daughter Dance at Fort Daniel Elementary, where I went to school. I walked into the hallway, and they had these murals up that my class had done when I was in fourth grade. I had TOTALLY forgotten about them, and it took me a few minutes to find mine, because I couldn't remember it. Once I saw it, I knew immediately. See, each person from the class did a self portrait of themself. It was SO unreal, sort of like a time capsule. I was SO excited. So of course I took pictures.

It was SO freaky being there. I drive by it all the time, but I hadn't been inside since I graduated 5th grade, lol.
